Drupal and Joomla found vulnerable in IBM study
Thursday, 31 July 2008 19:00

I recently got a link from a skype contact about a report that IBM and Websense periodically release. It included open source frameworks such as Joomla and Drupal.

When it comes to the Top Ten worst offenders in terms of vulnerabilities, big players like IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Sun, Cisco, Oracle and IBM continue to make the list.

But this is the first time that community-developed open source software such as the Drupal and Joomla! content-management software packages for the Web also showed up on the list.

But that wasn't the most interesting aspect of the story.

Last week I ran a test comparing SEO of identical Wordpress and Joomla sites. What I found interesting about the story was if you do a google search for the headline, you'll find the number one site is Joomla powered.

Not only that, he doesn't even use SEF!
