Welcome to the Compass Designs website, powered by Joomla 1.5! The goal of this new site is to be the place to bookmark if you are looking for quality Joomla templates, tutorials, news and tips.I was contacted by the GWO team at Google to try and figure out how to integrate their powerful web optimizer tool with Joomla.
With some help from Anthony from Joomla Performance, we were able to get GWO working in Joomla 1.5 (you need to patch a file).
Google Website Optimizer is a tool that helps you run multvariate and split testing on web pages, such as a landing page.
Setting up is a little complex, so the Google guys asked me to write a guide for it, which I am happy to post in the Joomla Tutorial section:
