Hide Intro Text in Joomla
Tagged in Untagged
When you make a content item, there are a lot of parameters. One of the less used is "Hide Intro Text". This function will not show the introductory text when you go to full view.
I am using it on this site in my portfolio section. The intro has thumbnails and then these are not there in the full version. But I do copy the text, so it looks like the thumbnail just was removed...
I was going to write a handy tutorial to this, but Fotis Evangelou beat me to it! His excellent guide is at:

| In addition to this little hack you may need co check admin.content.php for the default introtext value and set it to 0 |

Hi Barrie, Regarding this tutorial: how did they resize their images through css. F.e. showing a larger picture in the introtext and a full image in the fulltext. Chz, Ernst |
