Day 3 1.5 Migrator Problems

OK, so we have ran the migration script in our 1.0.13 site, and have hit a few snags....

There are 3 tables that need to be created for migration of the users, one record in each for each user. It seems because of the large numbers of users we have here (56,000), that the script is failing.

Day 2 Creating the Joomla 1.5 Migration Script

The next step in migrating to Joomla 1.5 stable is to create a special migration SQL file, and then use that in the installation process of the new site. As this migration SQL file is used in the last step of installation, we need to prepare it before we start installing.

Migrating to Joomla 1.5

If you have tried to grab a free Joomla template in the last few days, you may have noticed that they are not there. The problem is due to me recently moving hosting companies. When I moved over, the extension I use to distribute burped somewhat.
