I was contacted by the GWO team at Google to try and figure out how to integrate their powerful web optimizer tool with Joomla. With some help from Anthony from Joomla Performance, we were able to get GWO working in Joomla 1.5 (you need to patch a file). Google Website Optimizer is a tool that helps you run multvariate and split testing on web pages, such as a landing page. Setting up is a little complex, so the Google guys asked me to write a guide for it, which I am happy to post in the Joomla Tutorial section: How to Use Google Web Optimizer in Joomla Enjoy! |
