Over at Joomla Simplweb, our greatest love is to help people build great websites. As former educators and as parents, our team members greatly enjoy watching sites grow and get better over time. We understand that our customer's success is our success, and we can measure the health of our business by the quality of our customer's websites.

Recently, one of our free trial users emailed us and asked us what kinds of websites were being built at Simplweb. What types of businesses, organizations, individuals, etc are using the Simplweb service?

I have been meaning to blog for a while about a great opportunity from Google for charities/non-profits.

Google Grants will give a $10,000 advertising grant within the Google AdWords™ program. AdWords is our online self-managed advertising program where your organization will manage its advertising campaign by creating and monitoring text ads that run on Google. You create ads and choose keywords, which are words or phrases related to your organization. When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results, and people can click on your ad to see your website.

Within 10 days, we had nominees from all corners of the globe and doing incredibly diverse work.
