On Thursday November 11, 2010, the New England Joomla User Group gathering some of the sharpest thinkers in Internet Marketing at one event to share their Social Media vision, strategies and discuss ways to help businesses feel 'in command' of their marketing while keeping pace with today's agile Internet marketing environment.  The event is World Usability Day New England, it’s happening at the Marlboro College Graduate School from 8:15am – 12:00 noon and you're invited to attend!

World Usability Day New England will provide an opportunity to explore Social Media from multiple perspectives with experts like Mike Hoefer as he discusses the current landscape of Internet Marketing and forecasts future direction of web marketing strategies. You'll learn how organizations are staying current with Social Media strategies while anticipating "What's Next" in this rapidly changing topic area.

Social Media and SEO expert and practitioner, Patti Fousek, will provide simple steps for developing a successful social media strategy and how to apply them to growing a profit or non-profit business. Fousek offers an insider's look at what's working and a template for social media success.

Web expert Jason Mark will discuss social media usability and share ideas for making social media campaigns more functional for customers and staff.

The half-day session closes with a panel discussion with social media experts, including recent Marlboro Alum James Lambert, and Megan Grocki. Each will share their own experiences and best practices while answering participants' questions about their own real-world challenges.
